We will introduce strategies that are only available to Teachers Retirement System and the State University Retirement System participants. Estate Planning 101: The Essentials  |  Thurs, April 25, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Estate planning is essential to everyone's lifelong plan, it is not just for the wealthy. It involves not only passing on assets such as real estate, personal property, and financial assets, but also planning for others to make decisions for you, should you become incapacitated or die. A well-thought out estate plan can help you provide for loved ones while managing taxes and ensuring that your wishes are carried out. Estate planning is the key to making sure that everything you work for is passed on according to your wishes. These are difficult decisions, but if you don't make them, a court will.
